Some of our favourite destinations across the united states & canada

New York
The city that never sleeps – if you’ve been before, you’ll know that New York is a place like no other. You could spend a whole week in the city and never sleep. Now, we’re not recommending that because after all, there are some wonderful hotels there but with so much on offer, how do you know what to do? This is where our travel experts come in, especially having lived there! Whether you’re seeking a spring escape for the florals of Central Park and the vineyards of the Hamptons, or a winter wonderland for the Christmas festivities, there’s never a bad time to visit NYC. So explore more of what makes this city so special.

Las Vegas
One of the visited cities in the United States each year by Brits, Las Vegas never ceases to dazzle those that try their luck. We don’t need to tell you that the city is oozing in glam casinos, but there’s so much more to Las Vegas than you may think. The Strip itself is a sight to behold, with towering resorts shining brighter than the stars that have stayed in them; there’s always something new, too, like The Sphere! Within all these famous resorts & hotels are world-class restaurants and theatres, often housing global icons for Las Vegas residences. Whether you want to spend your days at pool parties or soaring over the Grand Canyon by helicopter, Las Vegas is well worth adding to your bucket list.

Orlando
Ahhh Orlando – one of the only holiday destinations where you’ll need another holiday to recover from your holiday! We can’t lie; Orlando is an action-packed, schedule-filled, all-systems-go destination but it has to be to make the most of everything available! Naturally, the main draw are the staggering parks (which feels like an underwhelming description) of Walt Disney World and Universal Studios, which could easily take up your entire holiday. If you do have some spare time, unwind with a spot of shopping, head east to NASA & Kennedy Space Centre for a tour or head west to the beaches of Clearwater & St Petersburg for a slower pace. Whatever your Orlando plan, our travel experts have got your back!

San Francisco
Arguably less-popular than it’s ‘nearby’ counterpart of Los Angeles, San Francisco is a beacon of US beauty on the west coast. One of the biggest hubs connecting the US with Asia, San Fran really is a melting pot of culture, with Asian-American heritage evident all across the city. Whilst it isn’t one of the largest to explore, there is plenty to do; from seeing the sites of the Golden Gate Bridge to soaking up the culture of The Castro to learning about the history of Alcatraz and beyond, there’s something for everyone. Venture north of the river to spend a day in nature exploring Muir Woods or tick off a box office bucket list at the Mrs Doubtfire house, including San Francisco in your USA itinerary is a must.

Vancouver
Just north of the US/Canada border you’ll find vibrant Vancouver, bursting with breathtaking landscapes, a cosmopolitan atmosphere and rich, cultural heritage. Not only is this British Columbian city a busy seaport & jumping off point for many an Alaska cruise, it’s a wonderful extension to a Western Canada holiday visiting Banff, Jasper & Lake Louise. From adventuring on the Capilano Suspension Bridge to enjoy the wildlife & scenery on Vancouver Island, you’re never short of an activity. Our travel experts highly recommend a scenic seaplane flight over the bay for a birds-eye view.

Los Angeles
Los Angeles is a big place, which can sometimes make it hard for first time visitors to know where to stay and why. That’s where our travel experts come in handy! From the city to the coast, hills to downtown, we’re here to unpack LA for you. You may want to spend your days seeing the sights – from the Hollywood sign to Beverly Hills, from Disney World California to the beautiful beaches of Santa Monica and Malibu – you may want to shop till you drop at The Grove, explore the rich culture surrounding Sunset Boulevard or get an aerial view of the city from the Griffith Observatory, we’ve got you covered.

Toronto
Towards the east lies the capital city of Ontario – Toronto is a vibrant metropolis, made up of a diverse population, soaring skyscrapers & green spaces and a whole lot more. Of course the city has a lot to offer, but it’s also a great destination to start or finish an Eastern Canada adventure, including Quebec, Montreal and even Niagara Falls. If you like to stay active, the CN Tower, Hockey Hall of Fame and St Lawrence Market should be on your radar. Out of the 6 million people living in the Greater Toronto area, only half speak English as their native language – with huge populations as Asian and Caribbean – making this a fantastic multiculturally diverse destination. There’s no shortage of top spots for the foodies or theatres either!

Washington DC
Despite being on the east coast, Washington DC is the capital of the United States, famed for its many monuments, museums, memorials and of course, being the political powerhouse of the country. Of course, there is a lot of history to explore during your visit – from The White House to the Lincoln Memorial and beyond – but there’s so much more to DC than meets the eye. With an eclectic cross-section of cuisine, you’ll never be hungry; from pho to Ethiopian injera and most definitely Maryland crab soup! If you love live music, be sure to check out the U Street District for anything from live jazz to EDM. Want to explore a little further out of the city? Baltimore is less than an hour away or immerse yourself in nature at the Shenandoah National Park.
