Glacier Express
One of the shortest journeys, yet splendidly scenic nonetheless – the Glacier Express spends just under 8 hours traversing through 168 mountainous miles between the towns of Zermatt & St Moritz, regarded for their luxury ski resorts. The Alpine route is what makes this train so marvellous as it meanders the narrow-gauge railroads.
Whilst there’s no overnight accommodation required onboard, there are First & Second Class panoramic cars.
